CMI - PR3 - Premier Safe (TDR)
The Premier safe's design and materials resist:
- Oxy-acetylene attack
- Explosives and force
- Drills and abrasive grinders
- Pneumatic and hydraulic tools
Body: The body has a minimum thickness of 80mm of high-density refractory material at every point. This material is bonded between inner and outer walls of reinforced steel, forming one solid mass once poured. The door and body engage to create a continuous, exceptionally strong cube.
Door: The door is 135mm thick overall. Its 55mm defensive slab section uses metals highly resistant to drills and abrasive grinders, on top of the poured barrier material. The lock case is built into the door structure itself, adding further strength.
Boltwork: Heavy 32mm bolts lock in 4 directions, into reinforced sections on both sides, the top and the bottom of the safe body.
Anchoring: Every model has 2 x 20mm recessed holes for anchoring to the floor.
Finish: CMI Premier safes come in an enamel hammertone finish to suit any office. Handles, locks and fascia panels have a matching satin finish.
Internal fittings: Every model includes two adjustable shelves as standard.
Fire resistance: The Premier safe is rated fire-resisting for one hour.
Locking: One La-Gard 6-digit electronic combination lock secures the heavy-duty 4-way, 32mm boltwork. Two automatic glass relockers back it up. It runs on a 9V alkaline battery. A key lock can be added as an optional extra.
Insurance cover: Insurance surveyors suggest $45,000 as a realistic overnight cash and valuables rating for an unsupported situation.
Optional extras: A 115mm lockable roll-out drawer can be fitted in the base at extra cost. You can also add a key lock, a lockable drawer-type deposit chute (front or through-wall — this raises the safe's height by 220mm), extra shelves, a lockable internal drawer, a time delay facility, a personal cupboard, extra bolt holes, or a 240V adaptor with duress alarm (for La Gard locks). Price depends on which extras you choose.

Delivery & Installation
Delivery & Installation
We deliver to all major cities in Australia. For Metro areas, you can generally expect your order within 3-5 business days. Because moving and installing a safe is a specialised task, we offer four flexible delivery options to suit your needs:
- 1. Professional Delivery & Installation (Recommended): Our expert technicians deliver the safe, offload it, and bolt it into your concrete, timber, or tiled floor (or wall) according to manufacturer standards. This ensures your warranty and insurance ratings are valid.
- 2. Delivery to Door: Delivery to your front door (ground level) only. You are responsible for moving and installing the unit.
- 3. Delivery to Site: You are responsible for offloading the safe from the truck yourself.
- 4. Warehouse Pickup: You can collect the safe from one of our warehouse outlets by prior arrangement.
Why Choose Professional Installation?
While DIY is possible, it is not encouraged for high-security items. Incorrect installation can leave gaps that vulnerabilities to burglars or void your fire-resistance rating. Our licensed technicians ensure your safe is correctly levelled and securely bolted to prevent removal.
Lifetime Support & Maintenance
We don't just sell safes; we maintain them. Whether you need a lock upgrade, lose your combination, or require general servicing, our accredited professionals are available Australia-wide to keep your safe in optimal condition.
