Your Rights

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, in addition to your rights as a consumer under the Competition and Consumer Act and other applicable Australian consumer protection laws and regulations, you may also be eligible to return the item for a refund.

Change of Mind Returns

If you wish to return a product due to a change of mind, you may do so subject to the following strict conditions:

  • Timeframe: You must contact our Customer Service Team within 30 days of delivery.
  • Condition: The product must remain boxed and unopened. The item must be returned in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, and documentation.
  • Fees: You may receive a part refund provided the customer pays the initial delivery fee, the return delivery fee and a 20% restocking fee.

Non-Returnable Items

We will not accept for return any product that:

  • Has been used or installed or where you have attempted to install it.
  • Is custom-made or is a special buy product.
  • Is on special (these items are not eligible for a refund).

Return Process

  1. To return an item, please email us at sales@buyasafe.com.au or call 1 300 405 200, Monday - Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm.
  2. Once you've submitted your return request, you'll receive an email confirmation with your return details.
  3. Our carrier will contact you within two (2) business days to arrange collection. Please use the original packaging.
  4. Once we receive the item(s) we'll process the return, issue a refund, and send you a return receipt confirmation email.

Refund Methods

If you are entitled to a refund, we will only give you the refund once we have received the product at our warehouse and inspected it and assessed whether it is eligible for a refund under these Conditions of Sale. Any refund we make will be by the same payment method used to purchase the product.

  • Credit Cards: Refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within five (5) business days of receipt of the returned package. Please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account.
  • Bank Deposit / PayPal: For cheque/money order/ direct deposit / PayPal payments, you will need to provide us with your bank details, please allow up to 10 days for Buy A Safe to post the refund to your account.

If you're having trouble with your new product please visit online Buy A Safe Support or contact Buy A Safe technical support. Otherwise please call the manufacturer to book a service call, they will assist you further.
