Chubb Safes LG Combogard is easy to use and reliable. Push-button access and a standard 6-digit combination give 1,000,000 possible permutations. It is designed for ease of use while maintaining maximum security.

Standard Features

User options: Up to 9 different opening codes; 1 manager and 8 users. The manager maintains control of the other users and can remove or add them when required.
Dual combination: 2 separate users must be present at the lock for every opening.
Wrong try penalty: Attempting to guess the combination more than 4 times will render the lock inactive for a period of 5 minutes.
Battery Efficiency: Operates on a Duracell 9V alkaline battery which gives up to 2560 openings. Low battery level triggers an audible warning. The lock retains all settings when changing the battery.
Durability: Environmentally tested from –10°C to 85°C. Polyfuse provides unique protection to the lock against electric shock attacks.
Security: All vital components are located within the lock body for maximum security. The swing bolt version has a patented automatic locking mechanism that locks when the safe handle is turned.

Special Combogard Features

Duress Alarm (Silent Alarm): If the safe operator is being forced to open the safe, they may trigger an alarm that alerts authorities without alerting the criminal (requires an interface to an alarm system).
Time Delay: Can be programmed so the lock will only open after a pre-determined delay. This gives the criminal the option to wait (risking police arrival) or flee without the contents.
Time Delay Override: A code can be programmed to allow immediate access for authorised users such as cash carriers.
Remote Lockdown: Allows the user to shut the lock down from a remote location so no users can enter. This is ideal for emergency situations or overnight shutdowns (requires an interface to an alarm system).

Approvals & Certificates

Certified to both Group 1 Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and European VDS KL2 manipulation proof rating. EN 1300 B*, VdS class 2*, UL type 1 (swing bolt).
